My visit to Tirupathi...

It has been a long time, since i blogged. The possible reason is, i lack topics or sometimes i lack interest, but anyway, i would like to thank my colleague senthilganesh who boosted me to write. Last week i went to Tirupathi and had a good dharsan of Lord Venki, whom i missed for nearly an year. I am here to discuss neither the spiritual value nor the tasty laddu, i had :-) ( Laddu is a delicious sweet given to all devotees as "prasadam" ) One thing i found peculiar and unique is their administration. I have been to many places across Tamil Nadu, but have never seen such a clean and well maintained roads. There are two ways to reach the holy hill, one for vehicles from Tirupthi to Tirumala and another for the reverse direction. both ways are maintained well. They have deployed decent amount of buses running at frequent intervals from Tirumala to Tirupathi. They too run free bus service inside Tirumala. They maintain lots of clean toilets and bathrooms. For a pilgrim place which attracts huge amount of devotees. its a welcome move. They have demolished houses adjacent to the temple and have constructed spacious stands. This will be helpful to hold huge amount of devotees during festival time like "Brahmostavam" and "Ratha Saptami". Apart from all these facilities, you can plan your visit well in advance with the help of TTD centre available in major cities across India. altogather, TTD earn a lot and they administrate well to live up to the expectations.
